Ground breaking for this beautiful building was held 16 years ago today, February 26, 2005. It continues to serve the community well and has brought new and exciting events, history, and community spirit to Franklin and southeast Kansas. Miners Hall Museum now maintains the building, the Community Park and the Welcome Sign area with the help of the Board of Trustees, staff, and volunteers. We are grateful to the Franklin residents who are proud of their community and have stepped up to help. If you would like to volunteer please stop in during business hours to see how you can help.
