FRANKLIN, KANSAS — Miners Hall Museum, located at Franklin Community Center & Heritage Museum, was selected as one of only six host organizations for the Kansas Humanities Council’s 2012-2013 state tour of the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibition, “The Way We Worked”.
“The Way We Worked” explores the stories of America’s workers and invites us to consider how the workplace and workforce have changed over time. Through photographs from the National Archives, audio and video clips and hand-on components, Kansans will discover how, together, our work makes America.
